Not Traditional Chiropractic
The care you receive at NoVa Spine and Wellness is not traditional chiropractic. This practice specializes exclusively in Chiropractic Biophysics (CBP) — a postgraduate, research-backed technique focused on rehabilitating the spine back to its normal structural alignment over time.
CBP is not taught in chiropractic school. It requires advanced postgraduate certification, and there are currently only 94 advanced certified CBP practitioners in the entire United States.
Structure Dictates Function
Your spinal structure controls how your body functions — and symptoms are the last sign of a problem, not the first.
Most people only seek care when they are in pain. But by the time pain appears, an underlying structural problem has often been present for years. Waiting for symptoms is like waiting for a cavity to become a toothache before seeing a dentist.
The goal here is not just to relieve your pain — it’s to find and correct the root cause so the problem doesn’t return.
More Than Just Back Pain
Your spine protects and supports your entire nervous system. Any misalignment creates tension that can negatively affect virtually any part of your health. Research shows abnormal spinal structure is associated with:
What CBP Can Help With
CBP produces strong clinical outcomes for a wide range of conditions:
- Headaches and migraines
- Neck pain
- Lower back pain
- Disc herniations and bulges
- Sciatica
- Scoliosis
- Abnormal spinal curvatures
- Poor posture
Think Orthodontics
Just as orthodontic braces gradually shift teeth into proper alignment, CBP uses specific spinal traction and adjustments to guide the spine back toward its ideal position over time. It is a process — not a quick fix — and the results are structural, measurable, and long-lasting.
