Day 2 — Report of Findings

Your Report of Findings

Understanding your spine, your correction plan, and the road ahead.
Your X-Ray Analysis

Seeing Is Understanding

Today you will see your spinal X-rays analyzed using PostureRay software. The software overlays two lines on your X-rays to show exactly where your spine is — and where it ideally should be.

Red line — where your spine actually is today
Green line — where your spine ideally should be

This visual comparison makes it clear exactly where structural problems exist, how they connect to your symptoms, and what needs to be corrected. Most patients are surprised to see just how far their spine is from its ideal position — even after living with it for years.

Your correction plan will be drawn out directly on your X-rays — you will see precisely what traction positions will be used and why.
Your Care Plan

Two Phases of Progress

Your care plan has two distinct phases. It is important to understand the difference — because feeling better is just the beginning.

Phase 1
Symptom Relief
Pain decreases, function improves, and daily life gets easier. This is the first goal — but not the final one.
Phase 2
Structural Correction
The spine is measurably guided back toward its ideal position. This is the root cause being corrected — where lasting results live.

⚠️ If care stops at Phase 1, the underlying structural problem remains. Without correction, symptoms will return —

it is not a matter of if, it is a matter of when. The abnormal structure took time to develop, and it takes time to correct.

Spinal Traction

What to Expect

Spinal traction is a core part of the correction process. As with any rehabilitative exercise, some soreness after sessions is normal — especially in the early weeks of care. This does not mean something is wrong; it means your spine is responding and adapting.

Every patient’s response to care is individual. The pace of correction depends on your unique spinal posture, how long the problem has been present, and how your body tolerates traction. Progress will be monitored at every visit, and your plan will be adjusted as needed.

Measuring Real Change

Tracking Your Progress

Every Visit
Ongoing Check-In
Review how you are feeling, what progress you have noticed, and how your body is responding to traction.
Visit 18
Formal Re-Examination
A comprehensive re-examination to assess functional improvements and adjust the care plan as needed.
Visit 36
Re-X-Ray Analysis
New X-rays analyzed with PostureRay to measure actual structural change — you will see your before and after side by side.
Completion of the correction phase occurs when your X-ray measurements reach their target — an objective, measurable outcome, not just a feeling. Every patient’s target is slightly different based on their anatomy.
Long-Term Health

After Correction: Wellness Care

Once your structural correction is complete, the goal shifts to maintaining what you have achieved and protecting it over time. Regular wellness care is not about treating a problem — it is about preventing the next one.

Ongoing adjustments and traction offset the degenerative forces that accumulate in the spine over time — slowing osteoarthritis, protecting discs, and preserving the correction you worked hard to achieve.

Regular spinal care also increases the nervous system’s adaptability — meaning your brain becomes more capable of handling new stressors without being overwhelmed. This is whole-body health, not just spine health.

Questions about your care plan? Ask at any visit — you are always encouraged to be informed and involved in your own health.
